A digital illustration of a person wearing a hoodie, with half of their face showing human features and the other half displaying a mechanical, cybernetic design, set against a cloudy sky background.

Hack the game: Wemby

Part 3 of the HTG series centers on the generational phenom. Wemby. This idea came from our background in cyber security and our familiarity with the idea that the line between human and robot is a thin one. Some athletes have this innate ability to see the patterns that others cannot see. We believe Wemby’s got it.

Digital artwork of a human head made of black, red, and silver metallic and plastic fragments against a black background.

Hack the Game: MJ

The final GOAT in the Hack the game basketball series should be no surprise, MJ! Notice that the other 4 athletes in this series only had partial digital face transformations while MJ has full digitization in his portrait. This was intentionally done to show that MJ was even more enlightened than the rest.

Illustration of various Pokémon characters in sushi rolls, being prepared with sushi chefs' hands, with Japanese writing on the side.

Raw Poke

Part of our edible Poke series, this one has 2 image variants, one with Ash’s blinged glove, and the other being a more traditional glove. The first 2 in this series center on Japanese cuisine, Sushi and the one to the right being Ramen. The question is where, geographically, do we go from here?

A comic-style illustration of a futuristic robot baseball player holding a baseball in one hand and a bat over its shoulder, with a human character in a helmet and uniform in a circular inset below. The background features a pink grid with Japanese text and the number 17. The robot has blue, white, and black armor, and the human character has a confident expression.

54/59 Man

Impromptu design created the moment Shohei finished the season. This superhuman milestone couldn’t be met with a traditional human depiction. Borrowing elements from human/robot JPN theme, we decided the best way to tell this story, was by making Sho, the pilot of a god-like robot.

Digital illustration of an American football player in a helmet with the number 12, holding a trophy decorated with the infinity symbol and sparkling jewels.

Brady Gauntlet - Part 2

Part 2 of the Gauntlet Series goes to the best quarterback of all time with 7 rings, or in this case, infinity stones. Rather than depicting championships as rings, we wanted to show infinity stones on Thanos’ gauntlet, suggesting that champtionship rings transcend time.

A digital artwork of a man's face with half human and half robotic features, wearing a purple hoodie, with glowing purple circuitry and cityscape elements integrated into the face and neck, against a vibrant purple and orange background.

Hack the Game: Lebron

The first in our Hack the Game Series, LBJ. This idea came from our background having worked in cyber security and our familiarity with the idea that the line between human and robot is a thin one. We realize LBJ is human, but his longevity and dominance is definitely not like any other human we’ve witnessed in the NBA.

Colorful illustration of a bowl of ramen featuring Pikachu, a green dragon, a smiling Squirtle, and other creatures, with Japanese text and decorative elements.

Poke Ramen

The first design in the edible Poke series, Ramen Sushi. For this one, we felt it was best to throw some of the best characters in a pot of soup and see what happens. The result is a epic mixture of Ramen noodles and color. This entire series will be designed in a vector-based line art style.

Ones and twos - Part 1

The first part of our One’s and Two’s series (Duo series). Conceptually, this one borrows from the iconic imagery Daft Punk established, but apply it to the sports world and perhaps beyond. Who are the best duo’s we’ve seen over the years. Maris + Mantle?, Jordan + Pippen? The Road Warriors?

The Illusion of scarcity

This piece throws a bit of shade at the over used and often times mislabeled claim that a card is 1/1 or has a low population count. The illusion of scarcity has a major impact on the value of a card. Utilizing Bruce in the famous mirror scene from Enter the Dragon, is a commentary on that smoke & mirrors illusion.

Black and white illustration of a sneaker with a Venom-like creature emerging from the shoe.

Venom Elevens

The second card in our Jordan’s series, felt like the best opportunity to find a character who would naturally rock the patten leather design found on the Jordan Eleven shoe. Venom had to be the guy for this one.

Illustration of a professional basketball player wearing a black and red Phoenix Suns jersey with the number 23, reaching out with his hand fitted with the Infinity Gauntlet adorned with six colorful Infinity Stones.

Jordan Gauntlet - Part 1

The Gauntlet series started with the GOAT of all GOATS in Jordan. No better athlete to show all 6 of is infinity stones (rings) than MJ. This one came in 2 image variants, red home jersey and the classic stripe alternative jersey (pictured above). Who will be next in the Gauntlet series?

Illustration of a dog wearing a blue Los Angeles Dodgers cap and a baseball glove, with a background featuring vintage Dodgers images, and text reading "Dodgers Pitcher Decoy".

Decoy

Many don’t know that Shohei’s secret power comes from his dog Decoy, short for Dekopin, which loosely translates in Japanese to “flicking someone’s forehead”. The breed is listed as Kooikerhondje. If Sho’s power comes from Dekopin, we decided to grant him the 27th Dodger roster slot.

Bitmap Jordans

Dodgers acquired Sasaki this off season, creating a 3 headed Japanese front line pitching staff. We started with SHOGUN in an earlier piece, this one seemed like the natural evolution of the Japanese influence on the World Champion Dodgers, starting with these 3 LA Guns.

Hack the game: Kobe

The Gauntlet series continues with Lewis Hamilton in his Mercedes livery. Jordan was the first in the series followed by Brady. Rather than depicting championships as rings, we wanted to show infinity stones on Thanos’ gauntlet, suggesting that rings transcend time.

Hamilton Gauntlet - Part 3

Part 3 of the gauntlet series continues with Lewis Hamilton in the classic Mercedes livery. MJ was the first in the series followed by Brady. Rather than depicting championships as rings, we wanted to show infinity stones on Thanos’ gauntlet, suggesting that rings transcend time.

Shogun

The first card created in the summer of 2024 while Shohei was absolutely destroying the baseball and setting himself up for arguably the best season of all time. Nothing about Shohei’s game indicates that he’s from this planet. We decided that the Shogun pose was fitting, with both sword and baseball.

A comic-style illustration of the Hulk sitting on a throne, with a cartoon crown drawn above his head.

Air Max Hulk: throne Series

The first of the throne series had to feature the Incredible Hulk wearing the only pair of Nike’s that could support that weight; Air Max 1s. The king in any scenario sitting on his throne is the best way to summarize this beast. Look to Hulk to make another comeback as we get closer to a Secret Wars movie.
